There are many different locations where you can hold your wedding ceremony. Whether inside the barn, within the grounds overlooking the river Bure and Bure Valley railway or in our woodlands the options are endless. It is possible to have the whole legal ceremony outdoors, including the signing of the legal documents.

Your Ceremony is followed by a drinks reception and for you to greet your guests and have photographs.

Should you wish to have your ceremony followed by an evening reception see our Twilight Wedding Package offer.
By playing with your timeline and hosting an evening ceremony you can avoid the costly expense of the sit down meal. Your evening reception will follow immediately after the ceremony and will flow without any gaps. Shifting the wedding to the evening will provide a leisurely day of preparation.
Twilight Wedding Package
- Exclusive use of grounds for photography, live music and drinks
- 1 day use of Barn accommodating up to 150 evening reception. Access to barn from 2 pm. Ceremony starts at a choice of 5/6 or 7 p.m
- Toilets and licensed bar, heating and utilities, car park
- Chairs, tables, cutlery, crockery, glassware, table linen
- Experienced wedding co-ordinator to oversee the whole wedding
- Bar staff and glass collectors
- 1 night accommodation for 8 guests over 3 holiday cottages (cots/children’s z-beds on request at an additional charge). Check in from 2 pm, check out 10 am.

The advantage of booking your wedding at Hautbois Hall is that we allow you to book your own caterers. Catering is often the largest expense to any wedding budget, but with no minimum numbers or high hotel package prices, you can keep your budget within reach. Options are endless but here are a few suggestions for your wedding breakfast / evening reception.
PICNIC – bring along your own blankets, straw bales and picnic hampers. Pick a spot within our gardens for the perfect laid back wedding breakfast.
BBQ or HOG ROAST – as formal or casual as you like. Option to have your guests seated and then invite to help themselves to the food served outside underneath the cart shed or for guests to enjoy the food casually around the gardens.
WOOD FIRED PIZZA OVEN – perfect for an evening reception for you and your guests
FORMAL SIT DOWN 2/3 COURSE MEAL – design a bespoke menu with your caterer, waitress served to your table.
BYO – bring your own food. finger buffet, cheese board or a sweetie table. Especially popular for evening receptions.
With the exception of bar staff, your caterer would need to provide their own waiters/ess to assist with the delivery.
Whilst you take time to mingle and greet your guests in the wonderful surroundings that Hautbois Hall offers, we can offer a wide variety of drinks to offer your guests. Whether enjoying a Pimms on the front lawn, a flute of prosecco in the barn or a cool beer on the Tennis court lawn, where ever you decide to greet your guests you’ll be sure to have a beautiful backdrop. The licensed bar is extremely well stocked with a diverse range of options and bar prices are reasonable.

Can I just start off by saying, Hautbois Hall is beautiful! I had heard of this venue before, but this was my first opportunity to photograph a wedding here. If you are looking for a venue definitely make sure to check it out, especially if you’re after an outdoors wedding.
